Meet Cheri

Cheri Amour Cosmetics was created in 2019 by licensed esthetician and makeup artist, Cheri Brice. As someone that has always struggled with her skin, Cheri wanted to create a brand that catered to all skin types and was actually good for your skin.

All products are made with natural ingredients, handmade by Cheri herself, and created in small batches, in Raleigh,North Carolina. With face and body products for the entire family, Cheri Amour Cosmetics is a one-stop shop for all things skin and beauty!

We took a moment and ask Cheri to tell us a little more about herself.

Tell us about your childhood, family, and background. How did you get to where you are today?

I grew up in Maryland moving to North Carolina when I was 11. I have an older brother so growing up the baby was fun. I had a really great childhood for the most part, I never wanted for anything. My father passed away when I was 14 and is my motivation and reason for starting Cheri Amour Cosmetics because he was the one that named me so it’s an honor to him and his legacy as well.

Who or what is your biggest inspiration?

My mother for sure! She’s always been an amazing mother and my best friend but I’ve watched her battle and beat cancer while keeping a smile on her face the entire time. She’s truly the reason behind everything that I’ve accomplished.

What/where do you draw inspiration from?

From my personal experiences. I started my brand because I had a hard time finding products that were affordable and didn’t make my skin worse so all of my products are to address problems I’ve personally faced or people around me.

What are your strengths?

I’m a creative, my mind works and sees things differently and allows me to use that creativity in my products.

Where are you looking to improve?

My online presence and marketing.

Walk us through your creative process. Are you structured or go with the flow?

Absolutely go with the glow. I try to be structured and it hinders me. If I have a product in mind I get right to playing with formulas. I don’t plan anything out. I create then go back and figure out specific measurements.

How do you take care of yourself?

I try to keep a peaceful home to protect my mental from the negativity and stress of the world. I still try to maintain monthly self care days

What keeps you going and moving forward?

The fact that I want to stop working for other people sooner rather than later. I still work in corporate America and want to put 100% focus into my brand, that’s my focus to keep pushing
