Iliana Marrero, formerly known as Lilly Santiago Artistry, is a professional makeup artist, photographer, and wardrobe stylist. Skilled in the art of style and beauty, her work appears across all types of media from film to fashion, including publications in ELLE magazine, Fashion Magazine, Elegant Magazine, L’Officiel, Shutter Up, and Southern Bride Magazine. She has also done red carpet makeup for Mitch Hoog at the premiere of Harriet Tubman. She specializes in conceptual art & portrait photography as well as editorial makeup artistry. Her content focuses on makeup techniques, beauty trends, tutorials, and lifestyle. Iliana began her training under Tony Permiscuo and Norman Zapien in Atlanta, GA in the 1990s. Later in life, she moved to Los Angeles and started Kuja Studios where she worked with Fidel Gonzalez and Scott Barnes. Iliana is a firm believer that the right expression of yourself makes you feel more beautiful than any product in the world could, and she wants to bring her knowledge and experience to every woman in the triangle area.

Exciting News! Since returning home to Puerto Rico, Iliana has taken back her maiden last name, Marrero, which is the name she will be conducting business by. She will be offering editorial-style photography sessions for engagements, elopements, and intimate moments, catering to couples under her renowned business, Lillies and Lions. Iliana’s studio is the breathtaking landscape of Puerto Rico itself, utilizing the natural beauty of the island to create stunning, memorable images.
